Lemlers Celebrate 100th Family ReunionBOURBON - The Lemler family will celebrate its 100th year of holding reunions in July.
The family marks its 100th reunion July 12 at 1 p.m. behind the old Flory Sawmill on 18 B. Road.
The family's first reunion was held Aug. 10, 1910, at the Bourbon Fairgrounds. A crowd of about 175 people gathered early in the afternoon.
A picture was taken of the family during the reunion 100 years ago.
Noah Lemler, 75, Bourbon, said he expects there to be 100 to 115 family members attending the reunion this year.
Lemler said the family came from Germany in 1854.
There were six brothers, including Nicholas Lemler, who settled in Kosciusko County. The other brothers settled in Marshal County.
