League Announces Athletes Of The WeekAVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the top athletes from December 30 through January 5. Sports Information Directors from the league nominate student-athletes for the award and vote on each week’s winners.
Men’s Basketball

Indiana Wesleyan
Mangas scored at least 35 points in each of No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan’s victories, averaging 37.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.0 blocks for the Wildcats in wins over Indiana Tech and No. 9 Bethel. The junior All-American also eclipsed the 2,000-point mark for his career in just his 87th game with IWU.
Women’s Basketball

McBryar led No. 13 Saint Francis to a pair of wins over Top-25 foes, averaging 19.0 points and 2.0 steals per game and shooting 65.0 percent from the floor. The junior hit the game-winner in a 61-60 victory against No. 11 Indiana Tech and added 22 points against No. 22 Huntington.
