Lakeland Christian Academy 2004 graduate Zachary Walter is scoring his second film down in Bloomington, but the cast this time around is a little bit more famous than the first time. The independent movie, titled “The Good Catholic,” will star Danny Glover and John C. McGinley, according to Indiana Daily Student newspaper online. Walter is the son of Fred and Connie Jetter, Chapman Lake, and the nephew of Warsaw School Board member Randy Polston. He attended Warsaw Community Schools until the ninth grade. In a telephone interview Tuesday afternoon, Connie said Pigasus Pictures, a film production company founded by Indiana University graduates, chose Walter to score the film. Walter also worked on Pigasus’ last film, titled “At Me Or With Me.” She said Glover and McGinley have been in Bloomington “a couple of months making the movie.” Glover has starred in movies like “Lethal Weapon” and “Shooter,” while McGinley appeared in “Seven,” “The Rock” and the television show “Scrubs.” Executive producer of “The Good Catholic” is David Anspaugh, director of such films as “Hoosiers” and “Rudy.” “I think doing ‘The Good Catholic’ is his dream come true,” Connie stated. Walter, she said, has not had any training when it comes to composing for films. He’s a “big drummer down there,” Connie said, but hasn’t had any professional training. He taught himself music. According to idsnews.com, Walter loves to use do-it-yourself instruments such as a saw blade, a trash can lid, stomping feet, pump organ and other antique instruments. Connie said Walter’s older brother, Jeff Jetter, got him started in music. Walter’s been playing the drums regularly since he was 6 years old, she said. “The Good Catholic” website can be found at http://www.thegoodcatholicmovie.com/ Read the idsnews.com story on Zachary Walter at www.idsnews.com/article/2016/02/local-musician-scores-the-good-catholic
