The goal for any kid out trick-or-treating is to get as much candy as they can.
The goal for most parents is to limit how much of that candy their child actually has.
Lakeside Family Dentistry is looking for a way to help parents with that as well as helping U.S. soldiers.
And kids get some cash out of it, too.
The office is holding a Halloween Candy Buy Back Monday from 4 to 6 p.m.
For every pound of candy a child brings in, they earn a dollar.
That candy will be put into care packages sent to troops serving overseas.
Kids also can bring in letters to troops to send along with the care packages.
The dentist's office will also have a station on hand where kids can make up cards and messages for the soldiers.
All kids who show up also get a free toothbrush, a coupon for a free kid's meal at Applebee's and are put into a drawing for a $50 gift card from Walmart.
The candy buy back is a part of two nationwide efforts called Operation Gratitude and Halloween Candy Buy Back

The Sell It Shop in Warsaw donated the boxes that will be shipped to the soldiers and will ship them at a reduced cost.
