Lakeside Chevrolet Goes To Bat For Warsaw Little League

Lakeside Chevrolet is partnering with Warsaw Little League.
Lakeside Chevrolet has joined forces with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide new equipment, a monetary contribution and an opportunity for community members to earn additional donations for their league via a test drive fundraiser.
“Youth baseball provides positive and productive life lessons for young people across America, and the Chevrolet Youth Baseball program is an extension of Chevrolet’s commitment to baseball, community and families. Lakeside Chevrolet is bringing that same dedication to youth baseball,” said John Brooks, general manager for Lakeside Chevrolet.
“There is nothing more American than Chevrolet and baseball, and Lakeside Chevrolet wants to combine America’s favorite brand and favorite pastime together for our families in Warsaw to enjoy,” Brooks said.
2014 marks Chevrolet’s Youth Baseball program’s ninth year, and since its introduction has helped aid local teams, benefitting more than 3.5 million young people in communities where Chevrolet’s customers live, work and play, according to a press release provided by Lakeside Chevrolet. In 2013, more than 1,600 Chevrolet dealers participated across the country.
Lakeside Chevrolet will present Warsaw Little League with an equipment kit that includes useful items, such as bags, batting tees, catcher’s gear, water bottles and Chevrolet Youth Baseball T-shirts.
In addition, Lakeside Chevrolet presented a check representing a one-time monetary contribution to Warsaw Little League. Sponsored leagues across the country will have the chance to earn additional funds as community members take test drives at the partnering dealership to help support the league.
In addition to its commitment to youth baseball, Chevrolet also is the official vehicle of Major League Baseball.
“Chevrolet vehicles are designed and built for families, so we hope young people and their parents will consider a Chevrolet as an official vehicle of the household,” said Brooks.
