Lady Tigers Compete At HSR QualifierANGOLA – The Warsaw Lady Tigers competed in the last of the Hoosier State Relays qualifiers at Trine University on Saturday. The 4x200 relay team of Abby Curtis, Makayla Clampitt, Kaia Hummitch, Abby Grayson, Natalia McGuire and Emma Pena qualified for Saturday’s finals in Bloomington with a time of 1:49.99 and are ranked 15th in the state. Maygan Bellamy, Shunterra Davis, Kenzie Martz and Remi Beckham are ranked 11th in the 4x400 relay with a qualifying time of 4:12.46. In the 4x800 relay, Dayton Groninger, Emma Bohnenkamper, Ally Miller, Anna Craig and Mia Beckham ran a 9:56.86 and will be ranked 10th going in to the finals. The distance medley relay team of Anna Craig, Ally Miller, Mia Beckham and Bellamy turned in a time of 12:59.89 and is ranked 12th in the state. The relay teams include alternates. Morgan Bruner qualified for the for the finals with a high jump of 5-1. Alexi Day also posted a season best in the high jump, clearing 5-0. Joelle Messenger posted a season-best pole vault of 8-6. Saturday’s HSR finals will begin at 8 a.m. at Gladstein Fieldhouse on the Indiana University campus.
