Kosciusko Shrine Club Annual Fish Fry Set For April 25

Posted

The Kosciusko County Shrine Club will have their annual fish fry at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 25 from 4 to 7 p.m., or until sold out, to help support getting local kids to experience the Shrine Circus.
The Kosciusko County Shrine Club fish fry has been an annual event for nearly 50 years. This year’s fish fry will add chicken planks to the fish and sides. The all-you-can-eat fundraiser will also permit inside dining this year along with the usual drive-through carry-out. Local Shriners will help Dan’s Fish Fry Company with the preparation and serving. Tickets are available from any Shrine Club member or at the door when you arrive.
The local Kosciusko County Shrine Club falls under the umbrella of the Shrine Club International that has a list of philanthropic endeavors including 19 Children’s Hospitals throughout the U.S., with two nearby, the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital in Chicago and the Children’s Burn Unit Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
The local Kosciusko County Shrine Club has another event this fall called the Turkey Shoot. No turkeys are ever harmed; rather, participants shoot at paper targets for food and prizes. The two-day event is another fundraising event where all proceeds go to support children’s causes that near the hearts of local Shriners.
