Kosciusko County Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge Fundraiser Set

There will be a fundraiser next month for Special Olympics Indiana for Area 5, which includes Kosciusko County. The Polar Plunge is set for Feb. 8 in Kokomo. Registration and breakfast is from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Crossroads Community Church. The plunge begins at 10:15 a.m. People can participate in the plunge or make a pledge to support one of the local participating athletes. Money raised from this event helps defray costs for local athletes competing at the Special Olympics Indiana Summer Games.
