Kosciusko County Relay For Life Is Friday, Saturday At Fairgrounds

Kosciusko County's Relay For Life is Friday and Saturday at Kosciusko 4-H Fairgrounds.
Registration will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. Friday. The opening ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., Friday followed by a survivor's lap.
Kosciusko Community Hospital will sponsor a survivor dinner Friday. The dinner is for cancer survivors and their families, and will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Shrine building at the fairgrounds.
There will be a luminary ceremony Friday at 10 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come the day of the relay and make a luminary bag and stay to remember those who lost their battle with cancer.
A closing ceremony will be Saturday at 7 a.m.

A total of $41,541 was raised during last year's walk in Kosciusko County. This year's goal is to raise $51,000, according to Elizabeth Shull, walk vice chair woman.
The funds will go to the American Cancer Society for cancer research.
