Tsunami Express Car Wash celebrated new ownership with a ribbon-cutting with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce Wednesday.
Manager David Stump said the car wash at 1055 Husky Trail, Warsaw, got bought out in September and they’ve just been doing changes to update the location. Previous owners Take 5 got bought out and Tsunami came in and just took over. Before Take 5 had ownership, the car wash was Clearwater Car Wash.
Other locations for Tsunami Express Car Wash are across Indiana, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
Tsunami Express offers several different types of washes. T2 with Graphene is $25 for a single wash per month or $449.90 per year for unlimited washes. The tsunami ceramic is $22 for a single wash per month or $399.90 for unlimited washes per year. The wax and wave is $16 for a single wash per month and $299.90 for unlimited washes per year. The big wave is $19.99 for a single wash per month and $199.90 for unlimited washes per year, according to their website.
Customers are also able to vacuum inside their vehicles and use air compressors for their tires.
Stump said the quality of services has improved since the new ownership has taken over. He thinks customers will see improvements in the quality of service, but also the engagement from staff.
Stump said he doesn’t know details about future plans, but said the company likes to improve and they like to change for better quality.
He also said Tsunami Express wants to be more involved in the community and see what they can be involved in.
