Kokomo Woman Critical After Wednesday Crash On Ind. 15

A Kokomo woman is in critical condition this morning after a Wednesday morning accident on Ind. 15.
Houen Chan, 24, Kokomo, suffered severe head injuries and was taken to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, after her car collided with a van on Ind. 15.Around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, Chan was southbound on Ind. 15 in a 2001 black Honda Accord when she lost control on the slush-covered road and crossed the center line.
The car hit a northbound 2006 Chevrolet van driven by Diana L. Fleming, 58, Silver Lake.
Fleming suffered minor injuries in the accident and was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene of the crash by the Warsaw and Claypool fire departments, Multi-Township EMS and the Kosciusko County Fatal/Alcohol Crash Team.
