A Kokomo teen was booked Sunday after he was seen handing out pills to young people at Center Lake.
Park patrol officer Mike Foster reported seeing a male passing out pills near the pavilion about 7:05 p.m. Sunday. When questioned, Joshua Jacob Goodman, 19, admitted giving pills to kids in the park "because they wanted to get high."
Four prescription bottles were found in Goodman's backpack, all prescribed to Goodman by Dr. Radcliff Jones, Kokomo. The bottles contained mellaril, propranolol, tazodone and deprovil.
The medications are prescribed for high blood pressure, anger and psychological disorders.
Goodman was taken to Kosciusko County Jail and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
