A person has died after a single-vehicle accident Monday on CR 200S.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies and emergency personnel responded at 9:09 p.m. Monday to a single vehicle accident that occurred on CR 200S, approximately 800 feet east of CR 675W, according to a news release from KCSO. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and located a Chevy Impala involved in the accident. Preliminary investigation determined the Chevy was eastbound on CR 200S and in the area of CR 675W, the vehicle left the roadway striking a tree.
The investigation is ongoing and the name of the driver will be released at the conclusion of the investigation.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center, Burket Fire Department, Silver Lake Police Department, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office, and Reichert & Knepp Wrecker Service.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT Team.
