KCSD, South Bend Bomb Squad Respond To Suburban Acres

Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and the South Bend Bomb Squad responded to Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park Sunday afternoon after a report of a suspicious package. KCSD responded at 4:28 p.m. after receiving the call of a suspicious package at the mobile home park at 3699 North CR 175E, Warsaw. KCSD officers located a package wrapped in duct tape that had originally been found by the owner of the mobile home who was cleaning out the empty rental trailer. Deputies requested the assistance of the South Bend Bomb Squad who arrived and neutralized the threat of any potential explosive by detonating the package without incident.
