KAFE Announces Scholarship Recipient

The Kosciusko Association for Female Executives awarded a $500 scholarship to Kathrine Kurosky, Warsaw.

Kurosky is studying to earn a bachelor's degree in business administration and risk management. She previously earned two associate degrees at Ivy Tech.

Kurosky works as a scheduler at Ivy Tech Community College and as a bookkeeper with Alderfer Bergen Inc.

She and her husband have eight children and six grandchildren. When Kathrine is not studying or working, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, volunteering, reading, and cooking.

Kurosky will use the scholarship to offset tuition expenses.Aimed at the non-traditional student, the KAFE scholarship fund is for adult females who have made the decision to return to school. KAFE is dedicated to the advancement of women, both professionally and personally, by providing an environment that promotes: support, networking opportunities, continuing education and volunteerism through community service.

KAFE meets at noon on the third Tuesday of the month at the Great Wall Restaurant in Warsaw. Annual dues are $25 and support the scholarship program. For more information, e-mail kafe04@gmail.com
