John Hall Awarded Sagamore Of The Wabash

John Hall, of Hall & Marose Agency Inc., Warsaw, was surprised at a Rotary Club meeting Wednesday with the Sagamore of the Wabash, the highest honor the governor of Indiana bestows. It is a personal tribute usually given to those who have rendered a distinguished service to the state or to the governor.

Hall was presented the award by Jean Northenor, who later said of Hall, 'He's just one of those go-to guys when you want something good done in the community, he's always there. There's not a more deserving person.'

Hall was cited for, among other things, his efforts on behalf of Rotary, the Kosciusko 21st Century Foundation board of directors, Shriners Hospital board in Chicago, United Way past president and campaign chairman, lifetime member of the Salvation Army board and past president of the Kosciusko County Fair Association. 'He exemplifies Rotary, the idea of service above self,' said Rotary President Ken Locke.
