Joe's Kids is celebrating the success of its annual Joe's Kids Tailgate, Dinner & Auction, held Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Miller Sunset Pavilion.
The organization's largest fundraising event of the year brought together supporters, community leaders, sponsors and volunteers for an evening dedicated to helping children reach their highest potential, according to a news release from Joe’s Kids.
The football-themed event featured a tailgate experience, dinner and a live auction filled. Guests raised critical funds to support Joe's Kids' physical, occupational and speech therapy programs.
"Our community continues to amaze us with its commitment to the children we serve," said Trish Nichols, development director of Joe's Kids. "The success of this event reflects the compassion and generosity of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and attendees. Because of their support, more children will have access to the therapy services they need to grow, thrive and achieve their goals."
"The success of this year's Tailgate, Dinner and Auction demonstrates what can happen when a community comes together on behalf of children," said Rebecca Bazzoni, CEO of Joe's Kids. "Every dollar raised helps provide life-changing therapy services that empower children to reach milestones, build confidence and achieve their highest potential. We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported this event and invested in the future of the children and families we serve."
Joe's Kids extended its gratitude to the event sponsors, auction donors, volunteers, committee members and guests whose support made the evening possible. Their generosity helps ensure local children and families continue to receive the specialized care and resources they need, the release states.
