Joe’s Kids is seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers to support its pediatric therapy and hippotherapy program serving children throughout Northern Indiana.
Volunteers are currently needed on Mondays to assist with hippotherapy sessions at Magical Meadows. This opportunity allows community members to make a direct impact in the lives of children with diverse abilities while working alongside experienced therapists and therapy horses, according to a news release from Joe’s Kids.
Volunteer responsibilities may include:
• Greeting patients and families.
• Assisting therapists during sessions.
• Monitoring patient and therapist needs during therapy.
• Helping prepare for sessions and assisting with clean-up afterward.
No prior experience is required. Training and support will be provided.
