WINONA LAKE – Joe’s Kids will hold its new 5K Heart & Sole on May 5.
The 5K will be a chip-timed event. However, for those Splatter Dash lovers, it will have the fun 1 mile walk/run.
This family-friendly event will be at Winona Lake Town Park.
Register online until the end of day Friday at https://runsignup.com/Race/IN/WinonaLake/JoesKids5KHeartSole.
On-site registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race will start at 9 a.m.
The cost for this event is $10 for kids 12 and under, $20 for students and $30 for adults. The cost includes a free T-shirt to wear at the race, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This year, Joe’s Kids also will have a team competition, so gather friends, co-workers and get a team together. Call Joe’s Kids at 306-0300 for additional details.
This event benefits the children at Joe’s Kids, a pediatric clinic in Warsaw that provides physical, occupational and speech therapy to children with special needs.
