JB’s Furniture has wrapped up a month-long fund drive to help charities working in Nepal involved with earthquake relief. JB’s offered a discount to anyone who purchased furniture in the month of May if they would make a donation to the charity of their choice working in Nepal. The furniture store on Center Street raised over $7,000 for various charities, which included a percentage of the proceeds from sales in the month of May. JB’s raised $2,340 for the Red Cross alone during the drive.
