INDIANAPOLIS - Jackson Township will get $125,000 from the Build Indiana Fund for the purchase of a new fire truck, State Senator Potch Wheeler's office announced last week.
The grant was approved by the bipartisan state budget committee.
The Build Indiana Fund is funded through profits from the state lottery and other forms of legalized gambling.
Wheeler represents Senate District 17, which includes Huntington, Wabash and Whitley counties and parts of Allen, Kosciusko and Grant counties.
