Ivy Tech Community College Kosciusko County will host a signage dedication ceremony on Tuesday, March 24, marking the culmination of an 18-month campaign transitioning from Ivy Tech Warsaw to Ivy Tech Kosciusko County.
The event will unveil a new illuminated Ivy Tech sign on Miller Hall, visible from U.S. 30, symbolizing the college’s continued commitment to serving students and workforce needs across Kosciusko County and the surrounding region.
The signage dedication represents the final step in Ivy Tech’s transition to better reflect its regional impact, according to a provided news release. Approximately 60% of students attending the Warsaw site live outside city limits, with many traveling from surrounding counties.
Since launching the campaign, Ivy Tech Kosciusko County has exceeded expectations — achieving a 5% increase in enrollment and a 12% increase in student retention, nearly doubling initial projections, the release states.
The Ivy Tech Kosciusko County signage dedication is 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Miller Hall, 2545 Silveus Crossing, Warsaw.
Speakers will include Dr. Kim Barnett-Johnson, chancellor, Ivy Tech Community College; Staci Beiswanger, onboarding & employee development manager, Steel Dynamics Inc.; Ryan Christner, president and CEO, OrthoWorx; and Peggy Friday, CEO, Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO).
This event is not open to the public and is reserved for invited guests and credentialed media.
