An Iowa man was booked into Kosciusko County Jail Thursday on a meth-dealing charge, 18 months after Pierceton police pulled him over and found the drug.
Samuel Coquillard, 49, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, faces a single charge of felony dealing methamphetamine, a year and a half after a run-in with Pierceton police.
According to police, Pierceton police officer Matt Owens pulled Coquillard over in March 2010 on U.S. 30, near the Regency Estates trailer park. Owens found evidence of meth precursors, and finished meth, inside the vehicle.
Police filed for a warrant, and Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested Coquillard at a home at 413 N. Parkway Drive, Syracuse.
Coquillard is being held on a $50,000 bond.
