Investigation Results in Prescription Drug Charges

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrested a Warsaw man on felony drug charges Wednesday afternoon near a city park. Drug task force undercover officers, along with sheriff’s deputies, arrested Joshua Joktan Golden, 33, Warsaw, on drug charges after a recent investigation within the city of Warsaw. Golden was taken into custody Wednesday at around 1:17 p.m. at his residence in the 700 block of Market Street without incident. He was preliminarily charged with felony dealing in a schedule I, II, or III drug in or near a public park. The arrest followed an investigation D.T.F. officers had initiated recently on Golden, who was allegedly dealing in prescription drugs. He is currently being held on a $20,000 bond in the Kosciusko County Jail. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted in the investigation by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.
