Staff Report-
Warsaw officials are looking at adding bike lanes on parts of Fort Wayne and Main Streets and are seeking public input.
The city will host a public meeting to review proposed bike lanes on the two streets during a meeting at the Pete Thorn Center, 800 N. Park Ave., at 6 p.m. June 7.
The city is working with the Ride Walk Advisory Committee to facilitate community input on the proposals.
This event is open to the public. The purpose is to gather feedback on proposed infrastructure for cyclists along the two streets between Bronson Street to Park Avenue.
“The city of Warsaw is always looking for ways to increase safety throughout the city. Creating infrastructure that will help protect cyclists without impeding vehicular traffic will be an easy win for our community,” said Justin Taylor, assistant city planner.
Anyone with questions should contact Taylor at 574-372-9550.
