Ind. 14 in Silver Lake Closed to Rebuild RR Crossing

SILVER LAKE – The Indiana Department of Transportation announced Monday that Ind. 14, between Herendeen Street and CR 200W in Silver Lake, has been closed to rebuild the railroad crossing. The official detour is from Ind. 15 to Ind. 114 to Ind. 13. The work, which will improve the driving surface for motorists, is expected to be complete by 5 p.m. Friday, weather permitting. INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
