WINONA LAKE - Retha Hicks is seeking re-election as Winona Lake clerk-treasurer.
Hicks has served as the town's clerk-treasurer since 1993.
Filing for the seat begins Wednesday. The primary is May 3, and the general election is Nov. 9.

Hicks obtained Indiana Accredited Municipal Clerk status in 1998, and a Master Municipal Clerk certification in 2006.
She said she has planned and implemented programs that have resulted in cost savings.
Highlights include instituting cost center analysis in the clerk-treasurer's office, a fixed assets program, electronic accounting, capital budget, investment program and a six-month cash balance in town funds.
Hicks received the 2006 Kosciusko County Republican Hall of Fame award in 2006.
"Having 17 years of experience in local government finance, my purpose in running for the office is to serve the residents of Winona Lake in an ethical manner," Hicks said."I am a servant of God, my family, my community my county, my state and my country. I would be honored to serve and represent all the residents in Winona Lake."
