A local company is doing its part to help senior citizens out as the fall brings in colder temperatures and the leaves begin to turn color and paint the landscape.
Starting Monday and running through Nov. 6, Health Force of Indiana will provide leaf raking services to senior citizens.
Slots are limited and it’s on a first-call basis.
Health Force of Indiana is a family-owned home health care business based out of Warsaw.
Along with Kosciusko County, Health Force also services Marshall and Wabash counties as well as Columbia City. It was founded by James Anderson Sr., a Warsaw resident, in 1995.

Health Force is state and federally certified for Medicare and Medicaid.
Health Force provides free registered nurse in-home evaluations as an aid to setting up an individualized care plan with the patient’s physician.
Irish Home Care serves as the sister program to Health Force of Indiana.
Irish Home Care is designed to help those seniors who wish to live in their home independently.
Whether it’s meal preparation or household work, Irish Home Care is designed to help make the patient’s home life easier.
Studies have shown that Health Force has been able to drastically reduce the amount of pain, fall, cardiac, wound and respiratory health issues requiring outside-the-home medical attention in patients.
It’s also designed to help give the patient contact with a caregiver who can provide personal contact and stimulation as to avoid isolation.
