Health Care Foundation Offers Mini-Grants For Infants

Posted

The Health Care Foundation of Kosciusko County Inc. is dedicated to improving the health of Kosciusko County residents by encouraging parents to nurture healthier babies through prenatal and children's health-focused programs, developing better-equipped parents through parenting education and creating stronger relationships within families and between English- and Spanish-speaking cultures.

The Health Care Foundation has made endowment income available for these purposes and will award mini-grants of varying amounts, typically $500-$2,000. Requests may be submitted by not-for-profit or for-profit entities or individuals for programs that fall within the guidelines of the Health Care Foundation mini-grants program.

Interested parties should submit a letter of inquiry, including a brief statement of the applicant's purpose as it relates to nurturing healthier babies, better-equipping parents for the challenges of parenthood, strengthening interpersonal relationships throughout Kosciusko County, as well as the need for assistance. Should the request fall within the grant-making guidelines, a formal grant application will be returned to the applicant. All requests for applications must be received by Feb. 15, and completed applications must be received by March 1.
