DENVER – Weston Hamby scored 23 points to lead the Manchester boys basketball team to an 80-56 Three Rivers Conference win Friday at North Miami.
The Squires led 18-10 after the first quarter, and ran away with the lead for a 42-24 advantage by halftime.
They were never challenged in the second half as they cruised to victory.
Caleb Stout added 15 points for Manchester (5-5, 2-0 TRC), while Thane Creager had 12.
The Squires will host Northfield Friday.

Wawasee Struggles Against NorthWood
NAPPANEE – The Wawasee boys basketball team’s woes continued with a 48-36 Northern Lakes Conference loss Friday at NorthWood.
The Warriors trailed 19-10 after one quarter before heading into the break down 29-15.
They never recovered in the second half.
Wawasee (3-8, 0-2 NLC) was led by Bennett Hoffert’s nine points, while Michael Hammer and Ethan Hardy each scored six.
Ben Vincent scored a game-high 13 points for the Panthers (5-6, 1-1 NLC).
Wawasee will play Friday in an NLC matchup at Elkhart Memorial.

Whitko Rolls Over Rochester
SOUTH WHITLEY – The Whitko boys basketball team pulled off a 61-49 home Three Rivers Conference win Friday over Rochester.
The game was tied at 31 at halftime before the Wildcats outscored Rochester 15-10 in the third quarter to take a five-point lead into the fourth.
They allowed the Zebras just eight fourth-quarter points as they pulled away for the victory.
Whitko lost 60-37 in the JV game.
The Wildcats (4-7, 1-1 TRC) will host Southwood Friday.
Triton Topped By John Glenn
BOURBON – The Triton boys basketball team lost 39-30 in a home game to Class 3A John Glenn.
Triton has lost three straight after winning three in a row in early December.
The Trojans (4-5) will host Culver Friday in a Hoosier North Athletic Conference.
They’ll get another shot at Glenn Jan. 15 in the TCU Bi-County Tournament.
