After 100 years, the legacy of local insurance pioneer W.R. Hall has come full circle.
Mike and Jodie Hall announce they will be welcoming their century-old business into 2020 being renamed W.R. Hall Insurance Group LLC after the original founder, W.R. Hall.
The business was formerly known as Hall & Marose, Silveus, LLC.
W.R. Hall (William Roberts Hall) opened the Hall-Spencer Insurance Agency in 1920 in Warsaw with the dream of building trust in a growing community by providing sound insurance products teamed with exceptional service.
The agency soon found itself in transition when it welcomed partner Rol Anglin, and was renamed the Hall-Anglin Insurance Agency in 1922.
W.R.’s son, W. Robert Hall assumed ownership of the agency in the early 1940s. The agency operated under the name W. Robert Hall Agency and continued to serve the county’s insurance needs while building on the foundation of trust.
In 1958, W. Robert Hall hired Art Marose, followed by the addition of W. Robert’s son, John Hall, who began his insurance career in 1963. With the addition of the third generation Hall to assume leadership in the agency, it was renamed Hall & Marose Insurance Agency.
The Hall & Marose Insurance Agency transitioned again with the addition of Mike Hall, the fourth generation Hall, who joined the agency in 1992 and Kevin Marose, the second generation Marose, joining in 1989.
In 2013 the Hall & Marose Insurance Agency and Silveus Insurance Partners LLC, an 80-year-old local business, entered into a merger to form Hall & Marose, Silveus, LLC.
Today’s W.R. Hall Insurance Group LLC consists of 18 employees that are credited with the agency’s continued longevity, offering both experience and knowledge, joined with a dedication to providing quality service.
