Brad Hagg announced his candidacy for the District 2 seat of the Warsaw School Board.

This district, which is composed of Plain Township precincts 1, 2 and 3, currently is represented by Cathy Folk, who has reached her term limit and cannot seek a third term.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, Hagg attended Leesburg Elementary School and graduated from Warsaw Community High School. He then graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a computer endorsement. Upon graduation, Hagg worked at Biomet Inc. in the maintenance and data processing departments for four years. For the last eight years, he has been the director of technology at Tippecanoe Valley School Corp.

When asked what he hoped to contribute by serving on the school board, Hagg said, "I hope to use my knowledge and experience in education to meet the needs of our young people while ensuring that our school district runs as cost-effectively as possible."

Hagg lives in Birchwood Court with his wife, Aimee, and their two children, Miriam and McKale. He attends First Christian Church of Warsaw where he serves as a deacon, Sunday school teacher and chairman of the technology ministry.
