Habitat for Humanity Holds Fundraising Sale This Weekend

Posted
Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County accepts donated materials and goods and is having a sale Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day to raise funds.
At the sale will be kitchen cabinets, appliances, windows, doors, countertops, vanities, light fixtures, garage doors and openers, bed frames, patio furniture, fiberglass showers, cast iron bath tub and 14 rafters for a garage.
The Habitat sale is at the TranZstar Transportation & Warehouse facility, 1406 W. Winona Ave. Enter the overhead door facing east.
The funds raised through the sale will help Habitat build more homes within the community. Habitat is a private solution to homeownership for lower income families across the globe. Partner families pay for the home through a 20- to 25-year interest-free mortgage, allowing the proceeds from the repayment of the loan to build more homes in the future. The homeowner must also put in 250 hours of sweat equity per able bodied adult in the household.
Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. Habitat Kosciusko works together with local sponsors, donors and volunteers to build communities and build families throughout Kosciusko County.
