Posted

A Pierceton man is in jail this morning after having pointed an unloaded gun at a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department Deputy early this morning.

Shiloh Lee Steiner, 21, of 4873 S. Ind. 13, Pierceton, was preliminarily charged with criminal recklessness, battery and resisting law enforcement.

Police responded to a call from Larry L. Steiner, same address, who reported being battered by the suspect. According to KCSD reports, when police arrived Shiloh armed himself with a .22 caliber shotgun.

Deputies reportedly ordered him to drop the gun. When he refused and started to come out of the residence, a deputy standing near the door grabbed the barrel of the gun and wrestled Shiloh to the ground.

Shiloh is being held without bond in Kosciusko County jail.
