WINONA LAKE – Grace College Chief Advancement Officer John Boal has voluntarily resigned from his position at the college.
He has served in the position for the past 13 years, and was hired in 1999.
During a telephone interview this morning with the Times-Union, Boal said he submitted his letter of resignation Monday to Dr. Ronald Manahan, Grace College president.
Boal said he is resigning due to other endeavors he would like to pursue, but said he is not at liberty to talk about the endeavors at this time.
Boal, a 1984 Grace College alumni, graduated from the college with a business administration degree.
Boal said he plans to continue to serve the Winona Lake community by serving as a Ward 2 Winona Lake Town Council member.
Boal said he will miss the students and faculty he has interacted with while serving at the college.
“I look forward to a different phase in my life and I am still a friend of the campus and the community,” Boal said.
