Towns of North Webster and Silver Lake will hold Republican Town Conventions to select candidates for the Nov. 6 election.
The town council positions are four-year terms, and there are three town council positions up for election in each town.
A Republican town convention for the Etna Green Town Council was held Tuesday night at the Heritage Park Building. The election was for three town council positions.
The North Webster convention will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at the North Webster Community Center. There are three town council positions up for election on the council, and four candidates have filed for the positions.
The Silver Lake town convention will be Monday at 6 p.m. at the Silver Lake Conservation Club, 108 S. Elm St., Silver Lake. There are three positions up for election, and seven candidates have filed.
To vote in the town election, voters must be a registered voter living in the town of the convention, according to Aaron Rovenstine, Kosciusko County Republican Central Committee chairman. He said voters who are unsure if they are eligible to vote should attend the conventions and the town chairman will determine voter eligibility.
