Staff Report-
In recognition of April being Child Abuse Prevention month, Giverny Fitness Studio is presenting a fitness class Saturday. The class is at 11 a.m. at Giverny Fitness Studio, 207 S. Buffalo St., downtown Warsaw. Admission is $8, and all proceeds will be donated to Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kosciusko County and their work advocating for the child’s best interests in court. The class will be a mix of three top dance fitness classes: Zumba, fuZion, and Hip Hop. The 90-minute class will be in a “come and go” format, meaning participants can arrive when they like and stay for as little or as long as they like. CASA volunteers represent the voice of the child in court. They work to collect information in order to provide the judge with the whole story, and advocate for the child’s best interest when they are involved with the child welfare system or caught in the middle of difficult custody disputes. To learn more about CASA, visit www.CASAchildren.com or call 574-372-2401.
