LEESBURG – The 2015 Annual Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County Gala and Auction is at 6 p.m. Aug. 29 at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. The theme for this year’s gala is “A Masquerade Ball – Unmasking the Giving Spirit in Kosciusko County.” The event will include dinner, a live/silent auction and music. Some of the auction items offered this year include: Cancun all-inclusive vacation; Whistler ski getaway; dinner and wine pairing donated by Cerulean; various gift packages and other items. The Cancer Care Fund of Kosciusko County raised over $214,000 in 2014 through Battle of the Bands, Cocktails for Cancer, Annual Golf Outing, Annual Gala/Auction, memorials and other donations. The Cancer Care Fund assists cancer patients with expenses such as rent, mortgages, electrical bills, prescriptions and other needs.
