Terence N. Furness, president of Zimmer, has been named senior vice president of strategic planning for Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Devices Group as of May 1, Zimmer announced Tuesday.
Temporarily assuming Furness' duties will be Peter R. Dolan, who is president of Mead Johnson and president of Bristol-Myers Squibb Nutritionals and Medical Devices Group.
Dolan will have an office in Warsaw while maintaining his other responsibilities, and said in a memo to employees, "the process is under way to identify a new president for Zimmer."
