Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department detectives arrested a Fort Wayne man Thursday on preliminary felony charges of sexual misconduct with a minor. Detective Lt. Todd Sautter stated that during the course of a recent investigation, deputies determined that David William Dean Blanton, 19, Fort Wayne, had sexual intercourse on at least one occasion with a 14-year-old girl. Sautter stated that at the conclusion of the investigation, Blanton was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail, where he is being held on a $10,250 bond. The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
