Frush Files For Warsaw City Council District 4 Seat

William Jerold Frush filed Friday for the Warsaw City Council District 4 seat as an independent. Frush is the president of the Kosciusko County Historical Society, and is a member of the Chain of Lakes Barbershop Quartet. Mary Ellen Rudisel-Jordan won the Republican vote for the District 4 seat in the May primary. The seat is currently held by Jerry Patterson, who is not seeking re-election. The deadline for candidates to file at the clerk’s office at the justice building as an independent or Democrat for the November election is June 27 at noon, according to Jason McSherry, Kosciusko County clerk. The deadline for a party chair to supply a candidate as an independent or Democrat is June 30 at noon. Angel McGlennen filed May 31 for the Silver Lake clerk-treasurer seat as a Democrat. The clerk-treasurer seat is currently held by Angie Glass, Republican. Republican Silver Lake Town Council filings include Phil Shalley, who filed May 19; Linda Baker, who filed April 14; and Chad Miner, who filed March 25. Gale Owens filed on the Democrat ticket for the Silver Lake Town Council seat Feb. 17.
