Four Score In Double Figures To Lift ManchesterMANCHESTER – The Manchester Squires finished their boys basketball regular season on Friday by winning 56-45 against Eastern.

The Squires (12-9) have won eight of their last 10 games. 

Four players for Manchester scored in double figures. Senior Mason Hamby had 14 points, senior Koehl Fluke had 12, junior Brayden Casper had 11 and freshman Weston Hamby had 10.

Manchester held Eastern (8-14) to three points in the first period and outscored the Comets in three of the four quarters played. 

Mason Hamby tallied eight rebounds in the game for the Squires. The team had seven steals to help the cause. 

Manchester plays Oak Hill at 6 p.m. on Tuesday to start postseason play. The Squires will host the sectional.
