Four people were injured and one jailed after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Hide-Away Hills Mobile Home Park.

Among the injured were Angela Adams, 22, of West CR 250S, Warsaw, who suffered facial fractures and was reportedly unconscious at the scene of the 5:55 p.m. accident; and Sean Woods, 17, EMS B74 Lane, Warsaw, who also suffered facial fractures and was semi-conscious at the scene. Both were treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and later released.

Adams and Woods were passengers in a vehicle driven by Kevin R. Clifton, 23, of West CR 250W, Warsaw, when it collided with a vehicle driven by Jorge Soto, 29, of South Main Street, Etna Green.

Clifton suffered bleeding to his elbow and refused medical attention and Soto was not injured. A passenger in Soto's vehicle, Christian Guzman, 4, of West CR 250S, Warsaw, suffered a bruise to his head and information regarding Guzman's medical attention was not available.

According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Clifton was southbound on a private drive in the mobile home park and Soto was westbound on a private drive when the vehicles collided.

Both drivers told police they didn't see the other vehicle until they entered the intersection.

A witness told police that Clifton slowed for a yield sign before entering the intersection and that she thought Soto was driving too fast for the trailer park.

Also, another witness told police that Clifton got out of his vehicle and ran to his residence in Hide-Away Hills with two cases of beer and returned to the scene without it. While talking with Clifton, police noted the odor of alcohol about him and administered a Breathalzyer.

After the accident, Clifton was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated and public intoxication.
