The foundation for the new chapel in Oakwood Cemetery is laid out and ready to be poured, said Cemetery Board President Warren Tatter at the meeting Thursday.
Tatter said the board hopes to have the foundation poured by next week.
The board also approved the minutes of the last meeting and passed around deeds for burial permission to be signed.
The next meeting will be Oct. 5.
Members of the board include: Tatter, Bob Sandy, Ellen Hoffer, Lewis Dobbins, Sexton David Shaw and Trish Brown.
