Fort Wayne Street At Detroit Street Intersection Closed Monday

The intersection of Fort Wayne and Detroit streets will be closed beginning Monday morning.
The closure is part of the Indiana American Water Company water main replacement project.
The contractor will complete the final tie-in of the pipe and will pour the final concrete road surface.
Indiana Department of Transportation requires a concrete “cure time” before traffic can travel on the new concrete that will keep the intersection closed for approximately one week.
Eastbound Fort Wayne Street traffic will not be able to turn north (left) nor travel straight across Detroit Street.
Eastbound Fort Wayne Street traffic will only be allowed to turn south (right) on Detroit Street.
Northbound Detroit Street traffic will not be able to turn west (left) on Fort Wayne Street.
Southbound Detroit Street traffic will not be able to turn east (left) on Fort Wayne Street.
Motorists should find alternate routes and avoid this area, if at all possible.
CR 100S (Rozella Road) at Ind. 15S will remain closed until Aug. 12. This is due to the equipment operators strike that delayed the entire project.
