The eighth annual symposium is sponsored by the Kosciusko County Master Gardener Association and Purdue Extension.
The goals of the Master Gardener Symposium is to increase knowledge of sound gardening practices and to provide information to the community on current and timely gardening methods.
James will speak March 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lakeview Middle School, Warsaw. There will be a time for questions and answers.
In addition, several area garden suppliers and vendors will be on hand to showcase their products and services.

In 1995, James created "Gardening by the Yard," a weekly program that airs on the Home and Garden Television network. Much of the show is shot at James' home in Tulsa, Okla.

In 1983, he received his master gardener certification.
In addition to writing and producing 26 episodes of "Gardening by the Yard" each year, he travels coast to coast making personal appearances. He also hosted HGTV's coverage of the Tournament of Roses Parade on HGTV for 10 years.
In addition to James, Deb Sanders and Teresa Reichman, of Fairytop Creations, will share tips and information on how to create fairyariums.
