Food Bank Of Northern Indiana Mobile Food Pantry Sets Hours
Posted
Staff Report-
The October Food Bank Of Northern Indiana mobile food pantry schedule for Kosciusko County has been set. Fresh perishable items (dairy, grains, produce and protein) and dry goods are offered free of charge to northern Indiana residents. The food bank sets up tables at pre-scheduled locations where people can “shop” and select items that best meet their needs. The mobile food pantries are first come, first served for those in need of food assistance, based on available product, while supplies last. Patrons must provide a valid photo Indiana driver’s license or Indiana ID and are asked to bring bags or boxes to transport their items home. If weather conditions are adverse, there is a possibility that a mobile food pantry could be cancelled. The schedule is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the Town Barn, 408 S. Graceland Avenue, Claypool; Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church, 206 S. Oak Street, Mentone; and Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon at God’s Highway to Heaven Church, 555 Weber St., Warsaw.
