The theme for the First Friday in July is “Great American Picnic” and will be Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Warsaw. Activities include a watermelon-eating feast sponsored by Tower Bank. Tower Bank is sponsoring First Friday, along with the Dr. Dane & Mary Louise Miller Foundation and the city of Warsaw. There will be a car cruise-in and Echoes Of The Past Tractor Show. There will be 50-cent hot dogs provided by West Center Street Owen’s. An American Red Cross blood drive will be from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Center Street beside the Kosciusko County courthouse. Center stage activities include Willie 103.5 from 3 to 7 p.m., Astound Dancers from Astound Dance Academy, Warsaw, at 7 p.m., and Deb Collier’s School of Dance at 7:30 p.m. Lakes Area Promotion will sponsor a frisbee toss.
