First Friday 'Country Wing Ding' Set For June 3 In Downtown Warsaw

The June 3 First Friday is titled “Country Wing Ding” and is from 5 to 9 p.m. in downtown Warsaw.
The event will feature a wings contest and benefits St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
The event is being sponsored by Willie 103.5, who will provide a live remote.
There will be a wings contest with samples from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
There will be 10 to 15 local restaurants who will participate in the wings contest with people’s choice voted on by the community.
Wing judges will be Chris Underwood, Teresa Daggett, Randy Polston, Toby Sorg and Dave Morales.
Allan and Ashcraft will provide live music from 6 to 7:45 p.m., and country dancing with Roan Renegades will be from 8 to 9 p.m.
Other activities will include a rock climbing wall, Mad Anthony’s will have a beer tent on Buffalo Street, and there will be inflatable games for children run by Mission Point Church.
Kerlin’s Western World will have trailors, tractors and all-terrain vehicles on display.
There will be puppet shows at 7 and 8 p.m.
Redeemer Lutheran Church will provide a dunk tank and there will be a petting zoo.
One Dog At A Time Rescue will provide a “Meet The Dogs” event.
Warsaw Community High School Jazz Band will perform at 5:30 p.m. on the east side of the courthouse.
There will be a Wagon Wheel performance of “Tarzan” at 7:50 p.m.
There will be a bench press contest where people can bench press their weight, sponsored by Giverny Fitness.
There will be clowns on hand and glitter tattoos provided.
Big Brothers Big Sisters will provide a fun booth and information table.
Master Gardeners will help children make origami birds and sidewalk chalk art.
Grace College will highlight undergraduate and graduate programs.
World Compassion Network will sell disaster relief t-shirts.
Masterson Chiropractic will provide evaluations. Lakeland Child Evangelism will provide a Good News Caboose.
There will be a surprise at 6:30 at the center stage at the corner of Center and Buffalo streets.
Warsaw Parks Department’s Friday Evening Performing Arts Series concert will be at 7 p.m. in Central Park. Michael Kelsey, progressive-aggressive acoustic guitar musician, will perform.
