Fiesta Hair Salon, in the Kmart plaza in Warsaw, is hosting a “Clip for the Cure” event Saturday.
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., 10 percent of all the proceeds from hair cuts will be donated to breast cancer research.
In addition, limited-edition pink products, including $1 breast cancer awareness pins, will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the products – lotions, hair products, nail polish, duffel bags, insulated cups and others – will go toward breast cancer research.
The Warsaw location also is planning a bake sale to raise funds.
More than 50,000 stylists in the Regis Family of Brands – the parent company of Fiesta Hair Salon – are participating in “Clip for the Cure” this year. To date, the stylists have raised $8 million through the event, including $1 million raised last year alone.
